By completing all 18 missions (finish the game) save and load. Now you new mode like.

Trial mission mode

A new mode which let you play Score Attack or Time Attack mode.

Also, beat the game once and go to option screen, you'll now have new goodies like

Scene Viewer> let you watch any scene from the game.
Music Player> listen to all 36 tracks.

Unlock X-02 MULTIROLE

Get S-RANKING on all 18 mission on normal mode.

New aircraft paint

On normal level and above, shoot down aircraft with that aircraft's pilot's name on it. On radar it will show up as red symbol and it is harder to shoot down. Should appear away from the main combat zone.

Unlocked options

Once you have beaten all 18 missions, a couple of new options will be unlocked. Load your saved game (with all missions complete), then go to the main menu. The new options will be listed there. They are: Special Continue, which allows you to play through missions with different aircraft; Free Mission, which allows you to play any mission; Trial Mission; Scene Viewer and Music Player.

Secret Modes

You can get secret modes by defeating the game. Finish the game in any difficulty to aquire Special Continue, Trial missions, FMV sequences, 36 musics from the game, and be able to change the color of your aircraft

X-02 Color Schemes

To get the first color scheme for the bonus aircraft, the X-02, get S Rankings on all missions on Hard difficulty, either in Story or Free Mission mode. For the second color, play through the game and get S Rankings on all missions on the Expert difficul

Hidden planes

SR-71:In shattered skies it is the plane that you are targeting at the beggining. Also it is on the Southwest most corner in Whiskey Corridor.
XB-70:This is at the top left corner in breaking arrows.

Master Code

Press UP, DOWN, TRIANGLE, CROSS while holding R2 and L2.

Eject from plane

Hold L1 R1 L2 R2 all at the same time, there for letting you escape before you are shot down.

Unlock All Aircraft

Complete the game on normal and get an S rank for every mission to unlock all the aircraft, including the X-02 Multirole fighter. This fighter is perfect for just bout any mission.
